About Lake Texoma
Impounded in 1944, Texoma is an 89,000 acre lake spanning the boarders of Texas and Oklahoma, just a mere 75 miles north of Dallas. Now known as the "Striper Capitol of the World", this lake is one of the few reservoirs in the world where striped bass reproduce naturally. With this being the case, Lake Texoma is abundant with stripers and therefore offers one of the most liberal catch limits around.
